Hi, I’m Barrett Self,
Author, Therapist and Meditation Teacher.
(and yes, that’s my real last name)
I hold certificates in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy and Emotional Freedom Technique Therapy (if you’re into that kinda thing) and have a deep passion for music, nature, spirituality and HEALING.
I’ve spent my life in spiritual and self-help communities and have done ‘the work’—read the books, attended the seminars, meditated through heartbreaks, sat with psychedelics, beat my head and heart against the wall and yada yada.

But the truth is, we each have a unique story. I won’t waste your time glorifying mine or pretending I know yours.
I also won’t pretend that working with me or reading words I’ve written will do much of anything for you. In fact, I can just about promise it won’t.
‘Cause the truth is you’re the only one that can do that.
You’re the only one that can give yourself peace of mind or change the way you view the world or awaken the best and truest and most loving version of yourself. But if you need a helper, a deeper perspective and a higher way of facing the ebbs and flows along the way, I’m here.
